Dr Muhammed Iqbal KathradaGDC No. 73906
Graduated at Univ. of Western Cape in 1984 and immediately opened his own Private Practice in South Africa. Came to UK in 2002 and joined an NHS Practice in Bournemouth primarily treating patients under sedation
Moved to Hull in 2004 to join and was the principal associate dentist at My Dental Health Club. Bought the Private Practice from the Principal in Nov 2008 and is current Principal dentist, employing 6 staff.
Dr Kat as he is popularly known has undertaken extensive post graduate training in all aspects of Cosmetic Dentistry and has won a prize for the Best Anterior Restoration in a competition held nationally in the UK.
Angela Coates (Hygienist) GDC No. 3189
Qualified at Glasgow Dental School of Hygiene in 1986, and for the last 17 years has worked in private practice. Angela has worked with a specialist periodontist & specialist prosthodontist. She is very enthusiastic about her job, but in her spare time she enjoys the gym, skiing and socialising with friends.
Sue Martin (Practice Manager/Receptionist)Worked as a dental nurse since 1989 & qualified in 2001.Over the past four & a half years Sue has gained a number of new skills at My Dental Health Club including cosmetic work, implants, patient care and the running of a busy private practice. She has worked her way up from nurse to receptionist and now the practice manager, were she is helping Dr Kathrada establish the new practice. Sue is married with a 17 yr old son who after completing his GCSE’s; is looking into further education within the medical field.
Terri Morriss (Nurse) Working in dental practices since April 2005 and qualified in May 2007 as a dental nurse. Terri has worked on both NHS and private but fully enjoys working privately and doing cosmetic treatment, giving the patients confidence to smile. She has already and still is learning so much from Dr Kathrada with all the new techniques including implants and full mouth rehabs. She enjoys socialising with friends, shopping and meeting new people.
Shabiha Kathrada (Admin assistant/Trainee Nurse) Since her husband Dr. Kathrada took over the practice in November 2008, Shabiha has gained a number of skills on the administrative side of the practice. But she has now made the decision to gain the nursing qualification and has just started her Dental Nursing Certificate. In her spare time she enjoys reading, watching movies, cooking and entertaining family and friends.
Katrina Jackson (Nurse) Congratulations to Katrina, she is now a qualified Dental Nurse, after taking her exam in May 2011. She joined the practice in August 2009. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family, socialising with friends and shopping. She firmly believes that she made the right career choice.
Emma Kitchen (Trainee Nurse) A warm welcome to our new trainee Dental Nurse Emma Kitchen, she will be starting her course in January 2012.
